About the position

We at Meliva VC/BVC Masthuggskajen are currently working on developing a newly opened health center in the new popular and central district, Masthuggskajen. Do you want to help build our fine reception? This is a unique opportunity as a General Practitioner to be involved in shaping the operations and working methods from the very beginning.

With us, ambitious and driven doctors, nurses, and psychologists work. The health center is a smaller unit with great ambitions, currently three doctors and five nurses as well as one psychologist. We are in a startup phase and continuously registering new patients. We focus on collegiality and cooperation, and we value initiative, respect, and solution-oriented thinking. We work with both planned and acute visits. We have a drop-in reception every morning for both doctors and nurses. Our digital reception is part of the service with the possibility of remote work, which is something we are working towards as we grow. We encourage initiative, participation in development work, and that you contribute your expertise to the improvement work of the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a specialist in general medicine
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has good communication skills and works professionally and empathetically
• Thrives in teamwork but is also self-driven
• Actively contributes to operational development and quality assurance
• Has a holistic perspective on patient needs and the mission of primary care
• Preferably has mentoring training (TYK/AT/ST/BT) and interest in lifestyle interventions and women's health.
• Is interested in nutrition, health, exercise, and holistic views, and is preferably well-read on research in these fields.
• Is flexible and enjoys working with drop-in patients without triage and sometimes stepping into other professionals' roles when needed.
• Is unpretentious and open to collaboration with all professional categories at the health center.
• Has good communication skills and a talent for building good relationships with both patients and colleagues.
